The Covent Garden Hotel's Sake Martini – Recipe
For something a little unexpected, enjoy this sophisticated cocktail. This beverage is airy, scented and drinkable, and pairs nicely with a few chunks of parmesan.
Japanese-Inspired Martini
Yields one serving
30ml gin – a quality London dry gin is ideal
15ml Lillet Blanc – a light, herbal fortified wine
15ml sake – preferably a delicate, balanced sake
Measure the gin, Lillet Blanc and sake into a shaker, include a generous scoop of ice and stir thoroughly for 30 seconds to cool. Filter into a pre-chilled martini glass and present.
